The English Learner Roadmap is a primary mechanism to guide us all towards creating the schools and services that will ensure English learners have meaningful access to relevant and rigorous education in safe an affirming environments. What does this mean specifically for the role and services of county offices of education? As for all intended audiences, the work of implementing this principles-based English Learner Roadmap policy begins with meaning-making and reflection. This tool is intended to support such meaning-making, reflection, dialogue and planning for staff and leadership of county offices of education.
