This convening focused on Building Resilience and included an overview of state and national policies and their impact on immigrant students and their families, with a keynote delivered by Andres Felipe Sciolla, renowned professor from UC Davis Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences who shared recommendations for trauma and resilience-informed approaches when working with immigrant and refugee students.
