Action Steps from the California English Learner Roadmap Policy

This video provides an overview of the action steps promoted by the California EL Roadmap Policy to be taken by districts and schools in support of English Learners and multilingualism. Approved in July, 2017 by the California State Board of Education, the California English Learner Roadmap is a revolutionary policy to change the course of English Learner instruction in California. This is the third of a three part series narrated by Dr. Laurie Olsen, co-chair of the EL Roadmap Taskforce. The EL Roadmap Taskforce was convened by Superintendent of Public Instruction, Tom Torlakson, members of the California Department of Education, and also co-chaired by Dr. Kenji Hakuta.
