From Data to Action: Strengthening District Responses to Long Term English Learners
March 3

With the November 2024 release of the California School Dashboard, Long-Term English Learners (LTELs) are now included as a new student group. This means that education leaders and community members can now view how LTELs in their school districts and schools are performing across a variety of indicators.
This one-day institute is designed to strengthen district responses to students classified as long-term English learners and align local policy and practice to the California English Learner Roadmap Policy. Participants will build on a decade of progress in California’s education system by exploring updated case studies, guidance for the new LCAP requirements, and actionable asset-based strategies that center the strengths of LTEL students. Register today to gain the tools necessary to drive meaningful change and improve outcomes for LTELs in your district.
Audience: district and county administrators, staff working on LCAP’s, program specialists, and secondary leadership staff
Light breakfast and lunch provided.
