CABE 2026 Workshop │ How California’s Math Framework Can Support Outcomes for English Learners

California’s new Math Framework (approved in 2023) creates an opportunity for educators and district leaders to ensure that implementation centers the needs of English learners. This workshop will provide an overview of the English learner-focused language within the framework and recommended actions to support equitable implementation, including access to rigorous coursework and the delivery of Integrated English Language Development within Math instruction. There will be a focus on the need for quality instructional materials, including research on access and strategies to establish a robust adoption process.

This workshop is led by:
